I recently moved to Tulsa and honestly couldn’t believe how amazing this gym is! 🤩 Not every place is this clean, cozy, and welcoming. The level of Professor Dallas and his students is truly outstanding! 🥋🔥 I feel so happy and inspired to have the opportunity to be part of this incredible team. This is honestly one of the best decisions I’ve made since moving here! 🙌✨

Been training for a while now, and I’ve traveled for work for over ten years, so I’ve visited many, many gyms and I’m very aware of when I step foot in a legit gym, vs maybe some that are not so good, not so professional or friendly. As a higher belt there is always a target on me when I visit so I expect that treatment and usually have fun regardless. But training at Method here with Dallas the owner was a very big eye opener. The gym was clean, very well kept, professional, and very welcoming. I got very hard training in but it wasn’t in bad taste. The level of the teaching by Dallas was high level and detailed, and I actually learned something new to me that was useful, Detailed, and actually useful. I’d recommend this gym to anyone who wants to take their training and time/money seriously. I’m very upset that I don’t live in Tulsa or else this would surely be my home gym. Can’t say enough good things about the place. I was there for several days and looked foward to each training. Go check it out. You will not find better.

My son had expressed that he wanted to do martial arts. My wife and I were talking with other parents Method and two other’s places came up. We went to the other establishments and after the first trial day my son and I both agreed that Method is the place for us. Professor Dallas and his students/coaches are top notch, from the first day it has felt like family. They want their students to succeed and have fun. It has been a life style change for my son. It is not just about martial arts. It is learning to respect people, discipline on and off the mat. I am really impressed with Method as a whole and would recommend this establishment for anyone interested in learning this craft.

In town for hockey event from Wyoming. Stopped in to talk to Dallas and was fortunate to be invited to classes and open mat. Super knowledgeable and friendly. I can’t say enough good things about Method and what Dallas has built. I’m a black belt and have trained all over. Dallas is a world class instructor and commits to every student. He will ask you your goals and help you accomplish them. He is never too busy for any student regardless if it’s before class or after. Method is a clean facility in every sense of the word. I went to train for just a weekend and it was extremely amazing. The amount of detail Dallas teaches is incredible. I loved every second of it and learned so much in just two days.

I'm from out of town and dropped in for a visit. The professor was great and helped us work on the finer details of the positions we were working. There were quite a few white belts and just as many upper belts. Everyone was very respectful and this gym fostered good learning. The mats are one of the best things about this gym. I have always been scared of stand up and being judo thrown into what seems like two inches of newspaper mat. Not at this gym! The spring board mats absorb plenty of energy making throws feel like landing in a marshmallow on top of a trampoline! Definitely coming back if I'm visiting in the area.

So many good things to say about this place. My daughter attends the kids class twice a week. The coaches here have helped her grow so much. I fully believe this is the best place to bring your kids to train!

My daughter and I both joined Method about 2 months ago and we both love it! I have been training for about a year and half and decided to join Method so my daughter could start as well since Method has a program for 4-6 year olds. I have had an amazing experience learning and training under Dallas so far, but I really want to emphasize what it has done for my 4 year old daughter. She has really struggled with keeping attention as most kids that age do. But this week, her teacher at school pulled me aside to let me know that she has done much better listening and with impulse control since she started. Her exact words were “Whatever they are doing in Jiu Jitsu, don’t let her stop.” The coaches/structure at Method truly make the class revolve around building the character of the kids. At Method, the kids aren’t coming in for an hour every once in a while and leaving. They are changing who they are at home, school, and all other aspects of the kids lives.

Great instructor in Dallas Niles. Competitive yet friendly atmosphere. Very focused on accurate technique with a lot of drilling and going over different entries and defenses to the technique that’s being taught. Highly recommend Method for a solid, competitive Jiu Jitsu experience.

Growing before our eyes! We have seen our 7-year-old come out of his preverbal “shell”. It’s been a year since we started at Method, during this time his growth has been significant. From getting frustrated at not being able to do warm up drills, to being asked to demonstrate them to the new members. At school, teachers have noticed and commented on his growth as a student. Specifically, his confidence, perseverance, and willingness to try new things. We like to say, “we can do hard things” and the Coaches at Method help make the hard things fun, exciting, and educational. The Coaches make the difference, encouraging, demonstrating, and instructing in a patient manner that makes each class fun and exciting. Adding in an emphasis on Character is also important at Method. The students earn stripes for completing the “Word of the Month” and other character-building worksheets. Encouraging growth within themselves, their family, and community. We are very proud of the progress our son has made over the last year at Method Jiu Jitsu and look forward to consistent growth both on and off the mat.

I can't say enough good things about Method Jiu Jitsu! As someone who has dropped in here and there to various martial arts schools over the years, I can confidently say that this place stands out from the rest. Before joining here, I tried a couple of other schools, and while they had their merits, none of them offered the same level of community, instruction, and personal growth that I've experienced at Method. One school focused heavily on traditional techniques, but I found the training to be somewhat rigid and not very adaptable to real-life situations or good competition. Another school I attended had intense sparring sessions, which were fun but lacked the structured learning I was looking for. What I love most about Method is how they embrace all styles and encourage students to build their own unique game. As someone with a wrestling background, I was initially worried about how my skills would translate in a new martial arts context. However, the instructors here have been incredibly supportive and have worked with me to incorporate my wrestling techniques into my training. The instructors are knowledgeable and genuinely care about helping each student reach their goals. The environment is welcoming, and the camaraderie among students makes every class enjoyable. Whether you're a beginner or experienced martial artist, Method has something to offer everyone. I joined this school in February, It has hands down been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I was looking for a new physical and creative outlet since returning home from playing soccer in Europe, I finally convinced myself to try jiu jitsu. Method Jiu Jitsu is the perfect place for experienced practitioners, beginners and families. I started training with Dallas at Lovato's in 2020 and I was so excited to see that he opened up his own school! Whenever I am in Tulsa I make it a point to come by and I get great rounds in a great environment. Dallas furthers the experience by bringing in great talent for Seminars. World champions such as Victor Hugo, Xande Ribiero, and Rafael Lovato Jr have been on his mats dropping great knowledge. Further, he has brought in a world class wrestling athlete, Nick Heflin, to broaden his student's exposure to grappling. If that isn't enough, Professor Dallas is objectively (yes I mean it) one of the funniest people on the planet. When I was just starting out his classes were engaging and entertaining, so that even after a long day of work I was excited to come in and learn. Tldr? From the moment I walked in and met Coach Dallas, I knew we had found the perfect place. The institution he is building is truly exceptional. Both of my children participate in group classes and take private lessons with Coach Kenny, who is equally wonderful. Dallas Niles has created something truly special here in Tulsa at Method Jiu Jitsu! I have been taking my two boys there over the past month and can’t honestly say enough positive things about our experience. We tried team sports with our 5 year old, but he was always frustrated by the lack of structure that happens when you try to convince a bunch of 5 year olds to work together. But he’s very active so I decided to look for a group sport instead. I showed him some jiu jitsu videos and he said he wanted to try it. Within 30 minutes of his first class, I could tell he was hooked. That night he told me he wanted to eat fruit instead of ice cream. At his preschool, his teachers began to remark that he was suddenly taking on a role in his class of making sure his friends were acting right. At his preschool graduation in May, they gave everyone a title. His was “the leader.” His class at Method is as much about self discipline and being a good human as it is about jiu jitsu moves. He’s really taken to it. Physically it’s been good for him as well, I can see so much more confidence in the way he moves and carries himself. He even has started asking to work out with me in the evenings, going for runs and doing planks and squats. I couldn’t be happier with our experience

I love this school. The professor and students were both really nice and welcoming. The professor is also an experienced competitor and was very clear and sharp with the techniques shown. Totally recommended for both beginners and more experienced practitioners.

The weekly job list cards are a great addition, encouraging responsibility and rewarding completion with character stripes. Each month highlights a different character trait, teaching the kids important life lessons. We've seen increased pride in accomplishments and better listening skills. Overall, the class provides a positive and nurturing environment that supports growth both on and off the mat. Highly recommended!

This is my first experience ever with jiu jitsu. I have no martial art background and I am not a gifted athlete by any means so to say I was nervous to start is an understatement. After my first class, all of those preconceived notions were wiped away. Everyone there was supportive and excited to see me start my jiu jitsu journey. Method really is a place for everyone.
